According to reports, Kevin Wimmer will join West Brom for £15 million once Davinson Sanchez arrives at Tottenham.
Spurs expect to complete the signing of Sanchez this weekend and he will become the club’s first signing of the summer. Wimmer did not play much last season and will leave Spirs as he looks to find regular first team football elsewhere.
The 24-year-old Austrian Wimmer had been linked with moves to Stoke and Crystal Palace and it now appears that the Baggies have won the race to sign him.
Spurs are also hoping to complete deals for Ross Barkley of Everton as well as Papa Cheikh Diop of Celta Vigo.
Barkley has been linked with a move to the North London club all summer having turned down the opportunity to sign a new deal with the Toffees.
As the England international has just one more year remaining on his contract, Spurs are the favorites to sign him and he will as well as creativity to the team.
