Good news fans of Celtic and everyone at the club, barring maybe a player or two in the squad.
Celtic have agreed to bring back Patrick Roberts on loan, according to the Daily Record and it’s Record Sport man Chris Sutton.
Roberts enjoyed a successful stint at Celtic last season, and Manchester City have allowed the youngster the chance to head back to Parkhead and find even further success.
Roberts scored 11 goals last season, but he became a fan favorite due to his commitment to the team.
That very commitment saw him turn down the chance to play for England U20s, who won their World Cup this past summer, so that he could play for Celtic against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Final.
This is once again a shrewd move by Celtic, who continue to be the place to go for young players to develop and get a chance to play. It’s an exciting time for the team, and Roberts should help them move up even further this season.
