According to reports, Tottenham are not prepared to entertain offers from Chelsea for defender Danny Rose.
The England international Rose caused controversy last week after he said that Tottenham underpay their players and that he would consider a move away if he received a good offer.
During the controversial interview, the 27- year-old said, “I am not playing as well as I have done not to get paid what I think I am worth.”
As a result Chelsea are interested in signing Rose and will likely be willing to offer the defender around £120,000, which is double his current wages though it is unlikely that Spurs will be willing to negotiate, at least for now.
The Blues are looking to bolster their defence and they have also had an offer rejected for Leicester City star Danny Drinkwater.
It is likely that they will follow up with another offer for Drinkwater soon as they look for a replacement for Nemanja Matic who was sold to Manchester United.
