Rangers veteran Kenny Miller is confident that his club’s forward line will get better with time this season. Alfredo Morelos continued his recent run of good form this weekend by scoring during his team’s 3-2 defeat at the hands of Hibernian.
The loss will also heap the pressure on manager Pedro Caixinga whose side were also eliminated from the Europa League by Luxembourg minnows Progres Niederkorn.
Despite his sides defeat, Miller is confident that things will get better and said, “Alfredo is coming on; he is a young lad who has made a big impact in the last two games getting three goals.
“It is about getting to know each other, that chance where I put the ball over the keeper I am looking for my partner to be there.
“That understanding will no doubt come but we have options in the front area with Alfredo, Eduardo (Herrera) and also Josh (Windass) can go up there as well.
“We can change the way we want to play as well because we have decent width in the team too. It is a work in progress but it will definitely get stronger as the season goes on.”
The Gers will no doubt be disappointed by the defeat and it proves that they still have a long way to go before they can once again establish themselves as giants of Scottish football.
