Aston Villa are the bookies favorites to land West Ham midfielder Robert Snodgrass. Popular bookmakers Skybet say that the 29-year-old Snodgrass has a 4/9 chance to join the Villains.
Snodgrass joined the Hammers in January following impressive displays for Hull City during the first half of last season.
He was required to add creativity to the East London side following the departure of the controversial Dimitri Payet to Marseille. However the Scotland international was largely disappointing and failed to score from 15 appearances for the Hammers.
Aston Villa are still looking to bolster their side as they look to launch a Premier League promotion challenge this season.
The Villains have been disappointing during their first two matches of the new season, claiming a 1-1 draw against Hull in their opening match before being beaten 3-0 by Cardiff during the weekend.
This would certainly be a blow to owner Tony Xia and he may be willing to fork out the money that will be required to lure Snodgrass.
