Tottenham reportedly willing to let £17million-rated forward go as 5 suitors emerge

As per the Daily Mail, Tottenham are willing to listen to offers for striking flop Vincent Janssen, and he’s not short of suitors.

EPL sides Stoke City and West Brom, Borussia Monchengladbach, Lazio and Marseille are all interested in the services of the Netherlands international.

Janssen, 23, arrived Tottenham for £17million from AZ Alkmaar as Eredivisie’s highest goalscorer last summer, but things didn’t go exactly as anticipated.

Last season, the Dutch striker could only score 6 goals in 35 appearances – mostly as a sub, and it doesn’t appear he’s a big part of manager Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for the new campaign.

Janssen was an unused sub as Tottenham resumed Premier League action on Sunday with a 2-nil win over Newcastle, and a move away could be all that he needs to rediscover his form.

Playing minutes would likely be much more limited for the former AZ man this term, and it seems it’s best if both parties part ways, temporarily or permanently.
