Leeds United star reportedly wanted by three Premier League clubs

Bleacher Report Journalist Dean Jones has revealed on social media platform Twitter that Leeds United striker Chris Wood is wanted by three Premier League clubs.

Wood was on fine form last term, ending off the Championship season as the highest scorer with 27 goals as Leeds finished in seventh position and narrowly missed out on a place in the Promotion playoffs.

It now looks like he has convinced some clubs in the Premier League that he is ready to score goals in the top flight. Burnely have reportedly already seen a bid of £12 million rejected for the New Zealand international.

Jones stated on Twitter, “ Burnley already had a bid rejected for Leeds striker Chris Wood but West Brom and Brighton are also making offers.”

The Whites will naturally be reluctant to part ways with their star striker as Championship side will want him to play a key role for the team this season in their aim for Premier League promotion.
