According to reports, former Sunderland midfielder Seb Larsson is set to join Hull City.
The 32-year-old Larsson joined the Black Cats in 2011 from Birmingham City and left the club at the end of last season following the team’s relegation from the Premier League.
Former Sunderland boss David Moyes had hoped to keep the Sweden international Larsson at the Stadium of Light for this season, though no deal could be reached and the player parted ways with the club.
Due to his experience, Larsson had been offered possible deals by many teams across the world but has opted to join Hull. He could now end up joining the Tigers ahead of their clash against Burton Albion this weekend with a medical set to soon take place.
Larsson will be a good addition to the Tigers squad and will add much needed experience and leadership to the team as the Championship season progresses.
