According to reports, French club Marseille are interested in signing Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
After arriving at Spurs last summer for £17 million, the Dutch international Janssen struggled for form and scored just six goals from 35 appearances in all competitions.
Right now, it seems like Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino will hand Janssen another chance to try and impress this season. However should the North London club manage to bring in a new striker this summer, the situation could change.
Despite his failures form last season, Janssen is still only 22 and will develop further before hitting the peak of his career in about five years time. This will give Spurs fans hope that he can settle into life at the club.
Marseille are reportedly eyeing Janssen in order to strengthen their own team. It will be difficult for them to sign him, especially considering that Spurs have yet to make a signing this summer.
