According to reports, Newcastle United are in talks with two Premier League clubs as they look to sign a new goalkeeper and striker ahead of the upcoming Premier League season.
The Magpies are said to be in talks with Stoke over signing Joselu, though they have yet to agree with the Potters on a price.
It appears that Mark Hughes may allow Joselu to leave given that the player spent last season on loan with Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna and is surplus to requirements.
The Tyneside club are also said to be interested in signing Adrian from West Ham. The Spanish goalkeeper Adrian is expected to start the new season as the Hammers second choice following the arrival of Joe Hart from Manchester City on loan.
This has reportedly led to the 30-year-old considering his future away from the London Stadium. Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is however confident that Adrian will remain at the club by saying, “I am confident he will stay but on the other hand, Adrian is ambitious.”
