Tottenham Hotspur are set to miss out on the signing of Juan Foyth with the player said to be headed to Paris-Saint Germain.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino had reportedly been monitoring Foyth for months but the North London side were reportedly unhappy about meeting the full asking price that Estudiantes were demanding for the Argentina international.

PSG are however said to be offering a firm offer for Hoyth and will likely pay the amount Estudiantes asked for of them in full.

Estudiantes chief, who is former Chelsea and Manchester United player, Juan Sebastian Veron said about the prospective transfer, “We already have an agreement between PSG and Estudiantes for Juan.

“All that is left is for his representatives to strike a deal. Foyth’s sale will be for more than €10m. Foyth is a player to watch out for in the future.”

As a result, Tottenham so far still remain the only team in the Premier League that has yet to make a new signing this summer.
