Southampton has a new targeted a new player as various sources are reporting that the Saints are interested in the French footballer Marcus Coco.
According to the Sun, the Guingamp winger has attracted much attention and among the clubs who are interested, Southampton is one of them.
Besides the Saints, Huddersfield Town and Newcastle United also set sights on the 21-year-old. Coco’s current club has set the asking price for the player at £10million, because the youngster has a contract until 2020.
His main strength is his versatility and although Coco’s preferred position is right wing, he can cover all offensive positions, including left wing and center forward. For just £10million, he could be a fantastic addition.
The Guadalupe born started his professional career in 2015 when he had signed the first contract with Guingamp. Since then, Coco has appeared in 54 games and scored 5 goals. He is also a member of U-21 French national team.
