West Ham’s new signing takes a dig at old club

West Ham United secured the services of Marko Arnautovic for a club record signing amount of £25million from Stoke City recently and leaving the bet365 stadium hasn’t been an emotional event for the Austrian international, reports Evening Standard.

“I wanted to join West Ham because for me it’s a bigger, more ambitious club,” said the 28-year old after joining West Ham United.

Stoke City’s officials claimed to have resurrected Marko’s career that was beaming down and have been left furious with his comments regarding the club.

Arnautovic submitted a straightforward transfer request to complete a move to West Ham United only a year after signing a new 4-year deal with Stoke City.

Arnautovic has been very pleased with Bilic’s signings this summer, which includes ex-Manchester City captain Joe Hart and ex-Manchester United forward Javier Hernandez.
