According to reports, Leeds United and Celtic could be set to battle in the race to sign Robert Snodgrass from West Ham.
Snodgrass was on good form for Hull City during the first half of last season and earned himself a move to West Ham during the January transfer window.
However he struggled to replicate his form for the Tigers at the London Stadium and failed to score a goal for Slaven Bilic’s side from 15 Premier League appearances.
The recent arrivals of Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez at West Ham may limit Snodgrass’ chances of first team football next season and the club could consider offers for him. Both Celtic and Leeds have reportedly made enquiries about the 29-year-old Snodgrass.
He was previously on the books of Leeds from 2008-2012 and helped the team to win promotion from League 1. Snodgrass still also has the ability to compete on a high level and may need a change of scenery to find himself again.
