Aaron Tshibola has completed a season long loan move from Aston Villa to MK Dons.
The 22-year-old Tshibola struggled to establish himself within the Villains first team after moving from Hartlepool United last summer as he made only ten appearances for the club, scoring one goal and was shipped out on loan to Nottingham Forest for the second half of the season.
He is seemingly surplus to requirements at Villa under Steve Bruce and this move will present Tshibola will a good opportunity to feature regularly as he considers his long-term future away from Villa Park.
Following the completion of the transfer, he said, “At this time in my career, playing games is the most important thing for me.”
Dons boss Robbie Neilson has high hopes of Tshibola and said, “Aaron will bring great experience, energy and power. He’s a Championship-calibre player.”
MK Dons certainly have also been provided of a player who is worthy of competing in the Championship and Tshibola will be keen on making an impression.
