West Ham United reportedly contemplating a move for Norwegian attacker

Norwegian youngster Julian Kristoffersen is hoping to be offered a contract with West Ham United, according to reports. The 20-year-old Kristoffersen is available on a free transfer after being released by FC Copenhagen.

He has undergone a trial spell with Birmingham City and though scored two goals in a game behind closed doors, he was not offered a contract by the club.

The youngster was also offered a trial by the Hammers and featured in its under-23 sides game against Barnet, where he made a good impression.

Kristoffersen is a physically imposing player and though he still needs to develop, he could be a good purchase for the future. Should he end up joining Slaven Bilic’s side, it is unlikely however that he will receive first team action immediately.

If a deal is agreed upon, the youngster will need to spend time with the East London clubs under-23 side honing his craft.
