Another questionable result from the Aztec side was a scoreless draw against Jamaica, that turned out to be one of the duller games in this edition of the Gold Cup. Mexico is not only expected to win this game but is also expected to take the title from this tournament.
Jamaica has been a rigid side in this Gold Cup tournament, finishing second in Group C and defeating Canada 2-1 in the quarterfinals. The most impressive result for the Caribbean team was that 0-0 draw against Mexico in the group stage of the tournament and will look to repeat a similar performance in this game. Darren Mattocks and Romario Williams have been two of the more crucial players for the Islanders, having two goals each so far.
Jamaica has been playing a rigid counter-attacking style that has been tough to break down and should give a tremendous fight in this game. Mexico is the favorite in this encounter but the game should be very contested and there could be a surprise after the 90 minutes.
