25-year-old international midfielder reportedly open to joining West Ham United

According to reports, Jack Wilshere is open to joining West Ham should he leave Arsenal. The England international, who was once heralded as the future of English football, has so far had a career that has been hampered by injuries.

After spending much of the 2015-16 campaign out of action through injury, he was sent on loan to Bournemouth last season by Arsenal.

Considering that the 25-year-old Wilshere has just one year remaining on his current contract, the Gunners may consider selling him as it could be there last chance to cash in on a sale of the player.

However, whether any club will be willing to pay a high fee for a player who is injury prone remains to be seen.

Wilshere has been linked with the Hammers over recent weeks and is reportedly open to joining the club. Slaven Bilic’ side have thus far recruited Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Hernandez, Marko Arnautovic and Joe Hart for the new season.
