One setback after another is striking Glasgow Rangers. After a humiliating exit from the Europe at the hands of a semi professional Luxembourg side, the Gers suffered another defeat.
This time it was against St Johnstone in a friendly match, 1-0. Possibly the worst thing that happened for Rangers during this game apart from the defeat though, was an outburst from Niko Kranjcar.
After only 35 minutes spent on the field, he was ordered to leave the game because of shameful behavior as he was reportedly screaming at the referee.
The Scottish Sun reports that the official Twitter account of St Johnstone posted, “Niko Kranjcar is asked to leave the pitch after screaming at the referee. 0-0.”
As the match was a friendly, the Croatian international was not sent off, and was replaced by Josh Windass instead.
his is a clear sign that something is wrong at Ibrox Stadium and that manager Pedro Caixinha needs to react immediately to prevent more catastrophes.
