According to reports, Manchester United are set to make a final offer to try and sign Eric Dier from Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly a big fan of the England international Dier and wants to bring him to Old Trafford to strengthen the United side.
The Red Devils will now try to test the resolve of the North London club by submitting a £60 million offer for the player.
Though Dier has reportedly said that he is open to a move, Spurs will be reluctant to part ways with their prized asset considering his importance to the team as well as the fact that they will attempt to win major silverware next season.
They may also be unwilling to let go of more key players after selling Kyle Walker to Manchester City.
The 23-year-old Dier played 46 matches in all competitions last season and was used by Mauricio Pochettino in both midfield and defence
