Giuseppe Bellusci and Leeds United finally parted their ways. After a long period of disagreements and disputes between the player, the club as well as the fans, Leeds United have now finally released the Italian centre-back.
The most recent incident came during a pre-season friendly game at Guiseley when the player had an argument with the fans.
After this unpleasant scene, the management of the Peacocks had informed Bellusci that it is best for him to leave the Yorkshire.
It seems that he is going to head back to Italy as Bologna and Benevento have shown some interest in the strong defender. Also, one of the Greek top clubs PAOK would reportedly like to sign the former Peacock as well.
Bellusci started his career at Ascoli, and in 2009 he moved to Catania. After five years, he decided to join Leeds United where he played 57 games and scored two goals. In the past season, he was loaned out to the Italian side Empoli.
