Leeds United reportedly ready to sell unpopular man this summer

Reliable journalist Phil Hay has claimed that Leeds United defender Giuseppe Bellusci will be leaving the club this summer.

The claim follows club manager Thomas Christiansen revealing during the club’s 5-1 pre-season friendly win over Guiseley that he had made a decision about the 27-year-old Bellusci’s future.

Many fans were worried that the Italian defender could remain at the club next season after he featured in their last two pre-season matches. This news will delight the club faithful as many do not wish to see the accident prone Bellusci in the team in the future.

Bellusci joined the Yorkshire giants in 2014 for a fee off around £1.6 million. He was loaned out to Serie A team Empoli last season, who were relegation from the top tier of Italian football.

He has one year remaining on his current deal at Elland Road and will likely be sold as this is also the last opportunity that the Whites will get to cash in on a sale.
