As the sources close to The Mirror are reporting, West Ham are keeping an eye on Javier Hernandez, and it seems that manager Slaven Bilic is willing to pay the £13million release clause and bring the striker over to the London Stadium.
At £13 million, the popular Chicharito would be a bargain since he has bags of international experience playing for top European clubs. He currently plays in Germany for Bayer Leverkusen, but it seems that the player is keen on a move back to the Premier League.
Leverkusen failed to secure a place in the European competitions next year, which is another reason why Chicharito might be leaving the club. Bilic is desperately looking for a prolific striker, and the Mexican international could be an ideal solution.
Over the course of last season, Hernandez scored 11 goals in 26 appearances, and he is currently in Russia where he is playing for his Mexican national team at the Confederations Cup.
