According to The Metro, Mauricio Pochettino is keen on bolstering his attacking options by bringing in Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Mexican player, nicknamed Chicharito, could be available for £13.7 million, which looks like a bargain deal for the Spurs. Hernandez is a player with a proven goal-scoring record, and he could certainly help alleviate some pressure off of Harry Kane’s shoulders.
Javier Hernandez left Manchester United for £7.9 million in 2015, but it seems that he is now keen on a move back to the Premier League.
The 29-year-old striker has a natural eye for goal, and his quick reactions and intelligence have enabled him to score bags of goals over the course of his career.
Pochettino is looking for those exact characteristics since Vincent Janssen failed to adjust to English football and he is set to leave the club during the summer.
