Despite missing out on the Championship playoffs and then losing manager Garry Monk after he resigned, Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani has kept himself busy in order to make sure that the club bounces back from disappointment.
First up came the signing of former APOEL Nicosia manager Thomas Christiansen. Then came two big signings, along with the extension of Ronaldo Vieira’s contract. However, that doesn’t appear to be the end of the line this summer.
Along with those moves, the owner has made an important move by brings back Leeds United Ladies. The Ladies had played independent of the club for a couple of seasons after having funding cut years ago. But now they are back.

This move is important because it will help draw in fans of both genders now. By supporting football at all levels, the club hopes to regain the heights that it once had back in the early 2000s.
This is a very sensible move, and all clubs should follow this example by putting more into youth and women’s football as well. Good on Leeds!
