West Ham United had a disappointing season in the English Premier League finishing eleventh with 45 points. One of the biggest problems for the East London side was finding a consistent scorer with wingers and midfielders emerging as the top offensive players on the club.

One of the biggest disappointments for The Hammers was the Argentine striker, Jonathan Calleri, who only scored one goal in 17 appearances. Luckily for the English side, Calleri was only on loan at West Ham and he will not be returning next season. The 23-year-old is currently on the Uruguayan side, Deportivo Maldonado, but despite his struggles in England the young forward is still wanted by several European clubs.

Two La Liga teams, Malaga and Las Palmas, have been linked with the South American forward for a while now but it has been reported that the Turkish giants, Galatasaray are also now in for Calleri. According to the Argentine journalist, Cesar Luis Merlo, Calleri’s fate will be decided this week and he is more likely to play in La Liga with either Malaga or Las Palmas. The move will be an intriguing one as the Argentinian striker was not successful in the Premier League but is perhaps more suited for Spain or Turkey.
