According to The Sun, Vincent Marcel, a young French winger, has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino’s scouts, and the player could leave Nice this summer by joining Tottenham Hotspur.
Even though Tottenham were monitoring Ricardo Pereira, a Portuguese full-back who also plays for Nice, Marcel has popped up on their radar quite unexpectedly.
As it turns out, Marcel’s pace and trickery has impressed Tottenham’s representatives, who are now interested in signing the 20-year-old winger.
Marcel is still a very young player, and he is often compared to Ousmane Dembele. During the previous season, Marcel played 9 games for Nice, and he is also a part of the French Under-20s.
Nice are not eager to sell the youngster, who has four years left on his contract, but it seems that Pochettino sees Marcel as a star of the future.
