According to Sky Sports, West Ham are keen to sign Olivier Giroud from Arsenal this summer as they look to bolster their forward options, following a disappointing season in front of goal.  Giroud was used mainly as a backup to Alexis Sanchez this past season and though he managed 16 goals, he started just 11 matches in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is also looking to bolster his forward options this summer, as he looks to re-establish the Gunners as a team that can qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

Wenger is reportedly looking at signing Kylian Mbappe from Monaco and Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

Giroud joined Arsenal from French Ligue 1 club Montpellier in 2012, and during his time at the club, he has made 226 appearances in all competitions, scoring 98 goals in the process. He also helped the club win the FA Cup in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
