West Ham star Sofiane Feghouli is not preparing to depart this summer despite enduing a difficult first season at the London Stadium.
Feghouli moved to the Hammers from La Liga Club Valencia last summer and was expected to deliver good performances during his first season with the East London Stadium.
However, he made just 11 Premier League starts this past season, scoring three goals and recording three assists.
Due to the 27-year-old Feghouli’s disappointing performances during the first half of the season, West Ham had reportedly been willing to sell him prior to the departure of Dimitri Payet.
After playing his way into the plans of Slaven Bilic in the second half of the season though, Fegouli has now since indicated that he does not wish to leave West Ham.
The Algerian international said, “I have two years left at West Ham and as I said on social media, I see myself staying at West Ham.
“I’ll start again on the 10th of July with the team. I mean it when I say it, but you don’t control everything in football. I’m not looking for a way out, not at all”
