As the Daily Star reports, Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a potential bid for James Rodriguez, who could be on his way out of Bernabeu during the summer transfer window.
The Colombian was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, and it seems that Jose Mourinho would gladly accept his arrival to Old Trafford.
However, other clubs are competing for the services of the 25-year-old winger, and Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly showing an interest as well.
Rodriguez struggled to find his place in Zinedine Zidane’s team, and he only recorded 13 starts in La Liga over the course of last season. He also didn’t make the cut to be in the team for the Champions League final.
The asking price for the talented Colombian is said to be at around £66 million, and Spurs will have to splash to cash if they want to strengthen their attacking options with the recruitment of James.
