According to reports, West Ham boss Slaven Bilic is weighing up a possible £7.5 million bid for Toulouse forward Martin Braithwaite. Bilic is looking to bolster his side following an underwhelming debut season at the London Stadium.
During the past season, many fans of the Hammers had called for Bilic to be sacked as the club flirted with relegation. He will know that should he wish to keep his job as manager, performances will have to improve next season.
The 26-year-old Danish international Braithwaite scored 12 goals for Toulouse this past season. He showed some impressive form while playing on the left wing and would no doubt improve the Hammers attacking options next season.
The East London club are especially in need of attackers considering that the struggled in front of goal this past season. Marseille and German club Cologne are also reported to be interested in Braithwaite.
