Rangers reportedly plotting an ambitious move for 23-year-old striker

Glasgow Rangers are after Michy Batshuayi from Chelsea, and they want Belgian striker on loan for the upcoming season.

This news brought much attention among the Rangers fans because Batshuayi would be an excellent addition to Pedro Caixinha’s team.

This news was announced by Daily Mirror, and according to the English tabloid, AC Monaco, the French champions and the 4th placed team in Spanish La Liga, Sevilla, also have an interest in Chelsea’s player.

All clubs mentioned above entered the race for 23-year-old Belgian after his statement that he wants an opportunity to play more during the next season, after which he intends to earn the spot in the Belgian national team and participate in World Cup in Russia.

So far Batshuayi has not received a proper chance at the London club, as he appeared only 20 times during the whole season, mostly coming off the bench.

Batshuayi would bring much-needed sharpness in the upper part of the Rangers team, and would become the leading star on the pitch, but this move is not likely at the moment because of his enormous salary, which is £70,000-per-week.
