Everton leading West Ham in the race to sign Arsenal attacker

According to popular bookmakers Betfair, Everton are leading West Ham in the race to sign unsettled Arsenal striker Lucas Perez.

Perez is reportedly determined to leave the Gunners this summer after not being given regular game time by Arsene Wenger this past season.

After arriving at the Emirates from Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna last summer, the 28-year-old Perez managed only nine starts in total while he came on as a substitute twelve times during the past season.

Both West Ham and Everton are looking to bolster their forward options this summer.

Everton and West Ham have been listed as 12/1 and 20/1 respectively in the race to sign Perez.

However a return to the La Liga appears to be more likely for the Spanish international as Sevilla as listed with a 7/1 chance of signing him, while former club Deportivo are also in the running and listed at 8/1.
