According to popular bookmakers Skybet, Everton are 13/8 favorites to sign Manchester City outcast Joe Hart.
Hart has become surplus to requirements at the Etihad Stadium since Pep Guardiola’s arrival as manager and spent this season on loan with Serie A club Torino.
As Torino cannot afford the salary of Hart on a long-term basis though, the England first choice goalkeeper is expected to return the City. Hart is unlikely to be willing to be a backup goalkeeper at City and hence a transfer is on the cards.
Everton are also searching for a new goalkeeper following inconsistent performances from Joel Robles and Maarten Stekelenburg this season. The prospect of regular first team football for the Merseyside club may appeal to the 30-year-old Hart.
With Sunderland valuing Jordan Pickford at £30 million, Everton may opt to bid for Hart, who also boasts more Premier League experience to his name.
