West Ham reportedly eye 23-year-old as their new number one goalkeeper

West Ham United are reportedly aiming to make Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford their first choice next season.

The 23-year-old Pickford was on stellar form this season, despite Sunderland being relegated and according to statistics; he made the second most saves after Burnley keeper Tom Heaton.

Both Adrian and Darren Randolph made high profile errors during the opportunities given to them by Slaven Bilic this season and many fans now feel that the club needs a new goalkeeper to compete for the first choice position.

Pickford is said to be worth £25 million, though the Black Cats are said to be demanding £30 million as they look to rebuild their squad ahead of next season. The Hammers are reportedly willing to offer Sunderland cash as well as goalkeeper Adrian in exchange for Pickford.

Pickford is one of the up and coming talents and could be a future England national team first choice goalkeeper.
