According to reports, Everton are not going to sign Enner Valencia on a permanent deal. The Toffees signed the 27-year-old on a loan deal last summer with an option to buy him for £11 million.
Valencia failed to establish himself as a regular within the first team at Everton, making only five Premier League starts and playing in 23 matches in all competitions.
He will now return to parent club West Ham United and it remains to be seen whether the Hammers will keep the Ecuador international or opt to sell him.
It looks like Ronald Koeman will now focus on securing priority targets. According to reports, the Dutch manager is keen on securing the signature of Swansea attacker Gylfi Sigurdsson as well as out of favor Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney.
Considering that the duo will likely get a lot of opportunities should they sign for the Merseyside club, there is a strong possibility that the deals could materialize if the correct conditions be offered.
