According to reports, West Ham are eyeing a loan deal for Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi ahead of next season.
Hammers manager Slaven Bilic is a known admirer of Batshuayi and had tried to sign him from Marseille last season before the Belgian international joined Chelsea.
After underwhelming displays this season from Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho, West Ham will be looking to add additional strikers to their side. Batshuayi struggled for regular game time during his first season at Chelsea, making 19 substitute appearances and just one start.
Though Antonio Conte’s side may be reluctant to sell the 23-year-old this summer, they may just offer him out to another club on loan so that he can gain more match confidence and experience.
Batshuayi may once again struggle to gain regular game time for the Sky Blues next season especially if they manage to sign Romelu Lukaku or Alvaro Morata.
