West Ham and Everton will reportedly battle for £25m rated EPL Playmaker

Everton

West Ham are reportedly battling Everton in the race to sign £25 million rated Swansea star Gylfi Sigurdsson, per The Mirror.

Despite Swansea’s struggles in the Premier League this season, Sigurdsson has been on top form, notching nine goals and 12 assists from 36 matches in the league.

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is set to search the market for quality players during the summer, as he looks to guide the Hammers to a top half finish in the league next season. Everton are also looking for new recruits, as they prepare for Europa League action, as well as try to challenge for a place in the Champions League next season.

Manager Paul Clement will be looking to keep the 27 year old, who he believes is one of the most underrated players in the Premier League. However, should The Swans be relegated, the club will be forced to sell.

The favorites to land the signature of Sigurdsson at this stage will definitely be Everton.
