According to reports from Daily Mail, Tottenham are confident that they will not lose Eric Dier to Manchester United. Jose Mourinho is said to be interested in bringing the 23 year old to Old Trafford, with a reported £40million offer in the works, as he looks to bolster his side ahead of next season.
Dier has been a key part of Maurico Pochettino’s side this season, having made 45 appearances for the club in all competitions and there is no doubt that they will be looking to keep him at the team next season.
With Dier having signed a new five year deal with the North London club in September last year, it is unlikely that Spurs will even listen to offers for him.
He may also not be interested in moving, considering that Spurs are currently a side that is performing better than United. Spurs are set to finish second in the League and play in the Champions League next season. United will likely have to win the Europa League if they wish to taste Champions League football next season.
