West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has revealed what Everton manager Ronald Koeman told him after the two sides played out to a 0-0 Premier League draw during the weekend.
Despite Everton being favorites to claim three points, it was West Ham who played the better football on the day and were unlucky not to get a win.
The Hammers boss added, “Ronald Koeman said after the game, and he’s very honest and straight, that only one team played today and only one team deserved to win. That was us.”
West Ham are currently in 14th position on the League standings, seven points adrift of the relegation zone and their Premier League status looks to be secured for next season.
Should they win against Stoke on Saturday and have other results go their way, they will mathematically be assured of a place in the top flight for next season.
However the East London side has regressed this season and will have to do a lot of hard work during the summer to improve.
