Manchester United have received a boost in their hopes of luring Celtic star Kieran Tierney after reports have claimed that the 19-year-old indicated his preference for a move to Old Trafford rather than Tottenham Hotspur.
Tierney has been in impressive form in defense for The Bhoys this season and helped the club secure a sixth successive Scottish League title. Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is said to be interested in luring him to United during the summer.
Though Tierney is a big fan of Celtic, it is hard to see him not leaving the club in the foreseeable future. He will surely wish to strut his stuff against some of the best footballers in the world, which unfortunately the Scottish League does not allow him to do.
The Scottish international could be a possible replacement for Luke Shaw, who many believe will leave the Red Devils at the end of the season.
