Matches away from home have been a different story for the ‘escualos’, losing all six games away from home and not scoring in five of those six losses.
The win against Cruz Azul was a huge team effort with all components of the team playing well. Edgar Andrade had an amazing goal in his first few minutes of the Clausura in that game. It will be intriguing to see if ‘El Gordo’ Andrade gets an opportunity to start in this match. The game should be an enticing duel with both teams needing the three points, especially Veracruz who is fighting relegation.
