Ecuador will also carry seven players who militate on European clubs, Felipe Caicedo and Enner Valencia being among the most interesting having scored a combined 10 goals so far in this qualification stage. The match should a contested duel with both teams needing the three points in a very tight race for a spot in the 2018 World Cup.
