According to reports, Newcastle United are interested in luring Manchester United outcast Luke Shaw during the summer.
The Daily Star has claimed that the 21 year old has already decided to leave the Old Trafford at the end of the season due to his lack of game time.
Shaw has never really established himself within the first team at United despite heavy expectations being placed on him after he arrived from Southampton in 2014 for £30 million.
Rafa Benitez is said to be interested in Shaw in order to boost his squad ahead of next season by placing a £15 million bid, with the Magpies likely to be promoted to the Premier League.
However the Tyneside club may have to compete with the likes of Crystal Palace and Stoke City for the signature of Shaw. With just 14 months left on his current contract, United are likely to allow for a sale to take place should they get a decent offer.
