Leeds’ star reveals the surprise order Monk has given to the players

Though the pressure is becoming more intense, Leeds United defender Kyle Bartley has stated that he is preparing to enjoy the remaining games of the Championship season as the Whites aim to win promotion to the Premier League next season.

The 25 year old insisted that he and his team-mates will continue to follow the order given to them by manager Gary Monk to “enjoy our football”.

When asked about advice given by Monk to players, Bartley told LUTV, “It’s been to try and play without pressure, to try and stick to his game plan and philosophy and to enjoy ourselves.”

With nine games remaining, the Whites will not be expected to finish in the top two and gain an automatic promotion place.

Nevertheless, they will be able to consolidate their position within the promotion playoff places. Leeds will be aiming to extend their seven match unbeaten run against high flyers Brighton at Elland Road on Saturday.
