Leeds United star set for huge milestone this weekend

Leeds United goalkeeper Rob Green is set to reach a milestone during the weekend ahead of his team’s clash with Queens Park Rangers. Should the former England first choice goalkeeper start the game, he will be making his 600th League appearance.

Green has been ever present for the Peacocks so far this season, playing all 36 of their League matches so far. The 37-year-old began his career at Norwich City before having stints with West Ham and Queens Park Rangers.

He will be remembered most for his time with Hammers where he established himself as a premier goalkeeper, which helped him to earn himself 12 caps for the English national team.

He will be hoping to help his team gain promotion to the Premier League next season and to play in the Premier League again before retiring.

During his career so far, Green has won two Championship play-off finals as well the Football League first division title and was also the West Ham player of the year during the 2007-08 season.
