The Mirror is reporting that 27-year-old Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge could soon be offloaded by manager Jurgen Klopp. The report states PSG are a possible landing spot for Sturridge, as the French giants have expressed interest in the striker.
According to the report, PSG would initially want Sturridge on loan due to his lack of playing time this season, but if the loan is successful, Liverpool would be willing to sell the striker at the end of the season.
Sturridge has been limited to only five starts in league matches so far this season, due to a combination of injuries and poor form. He has currently only scored two goals for Liverpool this season, but he scored an impressive 21 league goals in the 2013/14 EPL season, and at only 27 years old, there is reason to be optimistic that he can still be very productive when healthy.
Sturridge is reportedly not happy with his current playing time, and Klopp seems willing to sell the striker, so I would expect him to be sold before the start of next season. Sturridge is still young, and he has proven to be a top player in the past, so Liverpool should be able to get a decent fee in return if they do decide to sell him.
