West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has admitted that he kept a positive attitude in the changing room after West Ham drew 1-1 with Watford on Saturday.
The Hammers came from a goal down at Vicarage Road to claim a draw after Andre Ayew slotted home the equalizer. Bilic admitted that his side were outplayed during the first half but feels that they did deserve a point from the game.
“Considering the way we played I think we deserved more than a point from the way that we played through the whole game,” Bilic said.
“I told the guys at the end that okay it was a good point and a great performance in the second half but we cannot start like that, especially away and it is hard to turn the game around.”
Bilic’s team have recovered from a disappointing start to the season to rise to ninth place on the standings and they next play against Chelsea in two weeks’ time.
