West Ham United manger Slaven Bilic has confirmed that inform striker Andy Carroll will miss the club’s game against Watford this Saturday. This will come as a blow to the mid-table club.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Bilic said, “He is in good form. The only thing about him is that now he is a little bit injured and he didn’t train for 10 days.”
The attacker has suffered the misfortune of being hampered by injuries during recent seasons and the latest setback has meant that he could not train for the past fortnight.
Though Carroll was part of the Hammers squad that travelled to Dubai for a team bonding trip, he did not participate in training sessions due to the injury which also ruled him out of West Ham’s last match against West Bromwich Albion.
Bilic and West Ham fans will certainly hope that Carroll can return as soon as possible to bolster their chance of finishing as high as possible in the Premier League.
