The agent of Abel Hernandez Pablo Bentacur has confirmed that Everton and West Brom are interested in signing his client during the summer.
Bentacur also confirmed that in addition to the two teams, there were three Chinese clubs who were interested in signing Hernandez. However, Hull did not entertain the advances of those clubs as they lost Robert Snodgrass and Jake Livermore.
The loss of the two key players must have been a blow to the club who are currently fighting to avoid relegation from the Premier League and it is easy to understand why they did not sell Bentacur even if it could have entailed them cashing in millions.
Bentacur said, “Changchun Yatai wanted Abel strongly but we have so many requests for June, from Everton to West Brom.”
We will find out during the summer where Hernandez will end up. If he wants to earn a fortune he will move to China. If he wishes to continue playing against the best, he will move to West Brom or Everton. It all will come down to what he desires at the end.
